Carrying a name that denotes warlike and warrior, Chad Michael Murray's combating skills were challenged at an early age. His strength was first put into test when her mother abandoned their family. So at the age of 10, he began working as a newspaper delivery boy to help his father Rex in supporting their huge family, which includes his three brothers Rex, Nick, and Brandon, his half-brother Tyler and his sister Shannon. At the age of 14, he worked as a janitor in a local doughnut shop after delivering newspapers during mornings. When he got fired, he started working as a receptionist for a limousine company.
Chad was born on August 24, 1981 in Buffalo, New York, USA. He graduated at the age of 18 from Clarence High School. Afterwards, he sought his fate in Hollywood, and while waiting for a break, he modelled for Sketchers Gucci, and Tommy Hilfiger. Then, he segued to an acting career when he was successfully chosen to be a part of WB's Glimore Girls.
The blue-eyed blond actor can trace his fame back when he suffered an injury. It was his nurse who encouraged him to go into modelling. After two years, the 6-footer lad bagged a scholarship in a modelling agency at Buffalo. This opportunity allowed him to attend a modelling convention in Orlando where he was discovered by a Los Angeles agent and swayed him to enter Hollywood after high school.
This model-actor also has innate romantic charms. He captured the heart of Sophia Bush using colored light bulbs to spell out "Will you marry me?", while filming the movie The House of Wax. They exchanged vows in Santa Monica on the 16th of April 2005. He even bought Sophia a guard dog named Axel for her protection.
However, after only five months, Sophia filed for divorce when the actor confessed committing infidelity. Currently, he is engaged to Kenzie Dalton.
