He originally planned on getting the role of Brady Black on DOOL. Has a brother Jeff and a sister Jena, he is the eldest of the three. His birth place is Springfield, Missouri, and he also attended Kickapoo High School. He, Adrienne Wilkinson and Brad Pitt were born in the same state, went to the same high school. He and Brad went to the same church. He was born on February 24, 1977 and graduated in the year 1995, after which he did a few commercials and tried modeling. Jay turned down a part in the ABC situation comedy Hot Properties. Also a lead singer for a band called Solid Jones.
